A strong theme around finances, employment and relationships

There is a strong theme around finances, employment and relationships at the moment, and this energy will build up as the Sun moves closer to Pluto. Venus and Mercury in Sagittarius are working with Neptune in Pisces, which is where we will be learning about higher self-love and connection with past life wisdom, our Higher Self and Spirituality.

Hello and welcome to the astrological update for Thursday the 11th of January through to Saturday the 13th of January 2024.

We will see a build up of Pluto’s energy changing things that are no longer working, which will have an impact on financial matters. This really is a transformative time and over the next few weeks we will see things changing in ways that are unusual and unexpected. I imagine you are feeling the build up already. It will be important to stay in the moment and continue to practice being grounded and centred especially as Pluto, Uranus and Neptune are working with the Sun and Moon during this time.

Pluto is a generational planet that shifts gears for humanity about every 20 years or so. As he changes signs, the energy shifts along with him. For the past 20 years Pluto has been working with Capricorn around finances and careers, limitations and restrictions, authority figures, rules and regulations. As Pluto is now at the last degree of Capricorn, his energy is the strongest here, so we will experience the final challenges associated with finances being limited, restrictions placed upon humanity by authorities and possibly stronger applications of rules and regulations.

But we are also feeling the energy of Aquarius, which is where Pluto is moving to on the 20th of January until September when he moves back into Capricorn until November where we could see some restrictions and financial matters in play again until Pluto moves back into Aquarius on the 20th of November.  Aquarius relates to freedom for the people, ideas and technologies, communications and humanitarianism. So this is a big shift and one that will be with us for the next 20 years. To me it feels like a promising shift into a better way of living for all of humanity.

To add to this changing energy, Neptune is at the last 5 degrees of Pisces, and as you can see how strong Pluto is and has been, while in the last 5 degrees of Capricorn, Neptune will do the same and intensify his energy, and we are feeling this aspect as well and will until March 2025. Here we have the experience of not knowing, we can feel lost and unsure of the way forward, and if your employment or relationship is or has come to an end, you may be feeling like you don’t know what to do next.

So you can see how significant the shift is that we are all experiencing. The good news is that Neptune will move into Aries, the first sign of the zodiac, bringing in a brand new energy on the 31st of March 2025. Neptune represents your Higher Self and all that is beyond this realm. Neptune’s energy is of the highest love and compassion, spirituality, intuition and psychic abilities. Now that’s got to be a good thing right?

Freedom, equality, compassion and higher love for all of humanity is what we are moving toward. We just have to get through this year first though, so any twists and turns you encounter, will be directing you to higher frequencies and vibrations, higher ways of living and loving.

We just have to be comfortable with the uncomfortable until we get there and utilise the energies of Mercury and Venus working with Neptune until the 19th of January and then there will be other planets supporting the Shift we are undertaking at the moment.

Mercury is the communicator and is in the final degrees of Sagittarius for the next couple of days, so you may feel like you want to be alone and meditate or just sit with your Guides or God and hear any messages coming in or to sit in the stillness as life is quite busy at the moment. This will be a strong feeling for you if you have any planets or points in Pisces or Virgo and Sagittarius or Gemini.  You are being asked to go higher here, take your thoughts out of this world and into the realms where higher wisdom can be attained and you can communicate with beings of the highest vibrations.

Neptune is also helping Mercury to speak with more compassion and love to others and to the Self. Helping you to become aware of how you speak to yourself and supporting you to speak more lovingly to yourself.

Venus will be in Sagittarius, working with Neptune until the 23rd of January, here they are again, going higher. Neptune is supporting Venus to focus on loving the Self, learning new ways to love yourself and become more aware of how you are not loving yourself. Neptune is asking you to be more self-compassionate and forgiving. During this time you may feel a desire for more beauty in yourself, your home and in your life.

Saturday the 13th of January could be a bit busy and tricky to navigate. I see this as a day where your plans may go array as there is quite a lot of energy applying pressure to thoughts, feelings, actions, and things that have been organised. It might be a good idea to be prepared for anything to go wrong and have a back up plan. If the day doesn’t go how you want it to, just go with the flow and know you haven’t done anything to create this. If you do have plans for this day, you could send the energy you wish to experience to all the plans, places and people you may encounter on that day. You can do it today and each day leading up to the 13th.
