A new way forward begins.

We begin the new year with fresh energy and inspiration. If you’ve been feeling like you’re in a boat in the middle of the ocean without a paddle, lost and unsure of what to do or how to go about making changes and unsure of what changes to make because you haven’t seen the way forward, you will begin to feel a shift in the energy now.

Hello and welcome to the astrological energy update for the 2nd and 3rd of January 2024.

Have you noticed new ideas coming in or new people that inspire you to do something different or expand your learning, perhaps even a completely new idea has come in or this idea may have been in the background for some time possibly years, but now you are ready to take action, this is the energy of Mars in Sagittarius at 28 degrees. As he’s working with Jupiter, which is now direct in Taurus, you could feel like there’s an abundance of ideas and energy to make things work for you.

Saturn working with Jupiter is having you look at the processes you’ll need to put into place to ensure success. This is a serious energy, one of determination and commitment, that says it’s time to step up and do what it takes to get this project off the ground.

There is excitement to this energy, like you’re ready, you have to do it now, you may feel like you have to start this project immediately because you’ve been in the void for some time and now that you have a way forward, it feels inspiring and exciting.

There is major growth with this energy that will empower you as Mercury in Sagittarius at 22 degrees is working with the North Node showing you the way forward, gifting you the knowledge you need to do what you need to do and the words you need to say to begin this new way forward.

As Mercury has also been working with Chiron, you will have been shown the wound you’ve come to heal and it’s been highlighted by the Sun, really putting it in front of you so there’s no way you could miss this lesson. This is a good thing, although it may have been very uncomfortable, but now you are inspired to make changes and move through the thoughts and feelings that you may have been rejected for doing what you are about to do. But you’ve come to a point where there’s no going back, you have to move forward in this new direction and Mars and the North Node are certainly giving you the energy, clarity and vitality to do what you need to do.

The Moon in Virgo working with Uranus in Taurus is asking you to look at how much you’ve given, has it been enough or too much? The Sun working with Jupiter direct is highlighting your finances, as is Venus in Sagittarius working with Saturn in Pisces through a square, which is applying pressure to your self love and finances. Saturn working with Mars is asking you to look at your actions and become more responsible for your finances. Saturn is limiting but when you need to reign in your finances, Saturn has the best ways to refine your spending.

Perhaps the Sun working with Jupiter is showing where the excesses are that need to be pulled back, as Jupiter is about exaggeration and abundance and Saturn doesn’t like waste or actions that aren’t aligned with success this energy will be helping you to see what you could do to support yourself.

The next few days Neptune will be working with the Moon in Libra, and this will be a good time to really listen to your higher guidance around relationships and legal matters. This is an energy of equality and fairness within relationships and business contracts as well as legal situations.

I sense this energy is asking you to be mindful of yourself and your needs, to look at any power play in any type of relationship and ask for support from you Higher Self and Guides to do what you need to do and say, just remember to thank them as well.
