Astrological overview for 14 January to 20 January. The next day Pluto moves into Aquarius

This week we see the build up of energy between Pluto and the Sun as they highlight what we need to let go of in order to prepare for energy to shift into Aquarius. This will be a busy week energetically, one where we need to stay in the moment and go with the flow, allow things to fall away, to give space for the shift in energy, as this week marks the beginning of a new 20 year cycle.

Hello and welcome to the astrological overview for the week 14 January to 20 January 2024.

This week we see all the personal planets, Sun, Moon, Mars, Mercury and Venus all working with the outer planets, the North and South nodes and Chiron. Here we will feel the shift in energy on a very personal level which will contribute to the shift for the collective as well. I believe everyone on the planet will feel these energies, the good news is, that we are astrologically aware and can be grateful that we have practiced mastering our thoughts and emotions to be able to move through this shift with ease and grace.

The charts during the week are busy and highly activated and then on Saturday the 20th the chart looks a lot more settled even though, it’s a very big shift in energy. We can do this, we’ve got this, and we can support each other, and I feel this change in energy is going to be a good one as we come out of the heavy Capricorn energies and into the airy lighter energy of Aquarius.

We are moving into the week with the opportunity to raise our vibration and frequency. We will be looking at the things in our lives that lower our vibration, like scrolling through screens, soul contracts that are now complete and allowing those people, activities and thoughts to fall away that no longer serve our highest and best, gifting us the time and space to focus on the things that raise our vibration, mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually. What lights you up and makes you happy will be more of a focus.

You are most likely feeling the change in energy as the Sun and Pluto are about to move from the earth sign of Capricorn where there have been limitations with your work, career or relationships, now moving into a higher need for equality, freedom and sovereignty. Pluto is moving us forward, so whatever isn’t working for you won’t be coming into the future with you in the same way that it was. Pluto is the energy of rejuvenation and finding ways to improve the systems in place, solutions will become apparent, and you may wonder why you never thought of these solutions before.

Mercury moving into Capricorn on the 15th of January, is giving us opportunities to put into place practical applications and practices that we learnt through Sagittarius season, which was of higher mind and spirituality.  Mercury in Capricorn will have us thinking before we speak, so we will respond rather than react, and then there will be some that respond with higher motivations. Mars is also helping us with the energy and passion to raise our vibration and to go higher with our thoughts and actions in a more refined way, with self-confidence and in a more mature fashion.

It’s like we have hit the ground running this year, with no time to recover from the holiday season. The mind is active with new ideas and projects, ways to be more responsible, and the need to organise our finances, our work and career. If you have been in the position where you haven’t known what to do next, this could be the week where ideas and actions begin to become apparent. So keep your eyes and ears open for opportunities and possibilities. You may also receive messages through journaling or be guided to a new aspect of what you have already been doing.

More people will be waking up to the programming and I see this as a week where we begin to form ideas of how to manage our own individual reprogramming. You may have tried to move away from some of the programming already but felt alone out there or perhaps you weren’t ready to make the complete break just yet, and that’s ok. The programming has been highly addictive, and it will take time and discipline to reprogram yourself. Remember, this programming has been in place for many many years, so it will take time.

Tuesday the 16th the Sun moves to 25 degrees of Capricorn, highlighting the energy of Pluto, and this will continue to build until they are at the exact same degree point on the 20th of January.  I feel this is saying you can’t go back to what you were doing before, regarding your work, as Pluto dismantles the old to birth the new, so going back to what you used to do won’t work unless there is a new and improved aspect to it. You have to move forward, it’s like you have no choice here. You may be feeling a change coming or that something needs to change because you can’t keep going like you are. This is where Mercury, Venus and Mars are supporting us with new self-awareness, solutions and ways to improve the situation.

Wednesday the 17th of January, the Sun begins to square Jupiter into February. Watch any excesses of spending or indulgences to cope with the busyness as Jupiter likes to indulge and spend and the Sun is highlighting this aspect in a way that will teach us to be more responsible with our spending and the way we distract ourselves from the chaos in the world at the moment.

Saturday the 20th of January sees Pluto and the Sun at the exact same degree point, 29 degrees of Capricorn, the very last degree point of Capricorn and they will both be squaring Jupiter in Taurus. Now, it could be that nothing happens on this day, and it simply marks the beginning of the energy that is to come, which is usually the case.

But it could bring something of great importance to our awareness in a big way, something of great magnitude that has been kept hidden from humanity or from you in your personal life. This could be a big Aha moment that sets you free. It could be an ending of compliance and bring about a stance for humanity to rise up out of the ashes, stronger and greater than ever before!

On the following day, the Sun and Pluto move into Aquarius. Birthing a new 20 year cycle. We have learnt a lot in the last 4 years and most won’t accept the same manipulation and programming any more. This conjunction sets the energy for freedom and release from the Capricorn restrictive energies handed down through the authorities.

Solutions and improvements will be a key theme when Pluto moves into Aquarius, instead of power struggles or thinking that there is only one way to do something. Aquarius energy is about thoughts, communications, ideas and possibilities, technology and improvement for all and as Pluto has a healing aspect to its energy, that of alchemy, we will see things being improved and in our personal lives, ideas and solutions to any disagreements may be found from here.

We’ve come a long way in the last 4 months, so much has taken place and we have grown so much through the challenges. Our intuition has improved, and we’ve let go of a lot from our past as the South Node and Chiron have been worked on quite significantly. There’s no going back now, we are well and truly moving forward into a higher frequency, a higher vibration and way of living. Significant energy shifts will continue over the next couple of years, so hold onto your spiritual hat, as it may get a bit windy. But together, we can help and support each other.

Just as a side note, please forgive me for the reduction in posts, I’ve just had the biggest writers block I’ve experienced for many years, needless to say, I am also affected by Pluto as this energy is working with my rising sign, changing things in a big way. I hope to be back on track very soon.
