Capricorn Season

The energy signature of Capricorn will be working in your life even if you’re not a Capricorn. You may notice you become more organised or ambitious, which is very helpful during the holiday season, and this may also be the reason why goals and ambitions are created for the New Year.

The Capricorn energy may bring about a mature and common sense approach toward building a secure future for yourself. You may feel a heightened sense of duty and responsibility for your family or in your work situation.

Capricorn relates to authority figures like governments, managers, fathers and leaders, which may be a focus in your life during the Capricorn season. It will depend upon which House or Houses Capricorn is within your birth chart as to the area of life these people will be affecting for you.

Time is also a key point here and this can be experienced through thoughts like “by now I should be married” or “at this age I should be, do or have a certain thing”, “It’s time I did….” or simply, “It’s time now“ You may also find that you’re on time or late, or you may experience a feeling that time is running out.

The Capricorn energy can also be stubborn and not give up or give in and this can go both ways, it can work for you or against you, so it would be a good idea to make sure you are staying the course for the right reasons. The stubbornness can also relate to doing things on your own and not accepting help because the Capricorn energy doesn’t like to feel vulnerable. The goat is sure footed and follows his own path, by himself, but as humans, receiving and accepting can also be seen as a strength, not a vulnerability.

This Capricorn season you may find you become more resourceful, conservative and disciplined. Responsibility and duty, structure and restraint are key energies here. You may find yourself being restricted or limited in some way and this has a divine purpose that only your Soul will understand. If you can, trust these limitations and see what you can learn from them.  

Capricorn is also serious and very patient, hard working and you may find yourself concerned that you’re not doing enough or haven’t done enough and isn’t this a thing during the holiday season? Now that we know it’s the Capricorn energy, perhaps we can relax a bit and know within your heart that you have done what you can and that is good enough, more than enough!

If the Sun in Capricorn is working unfavourably with any planets in your birth chart, you may experience joint aches, bone problems, back pain, tooth ache or skin issues, which will pass once the Sun moves into Aquarius.

The ruler of Capricorn is Saturn, and he is in Pisces, grounding your spirituality making it more realistic by structuring your spiritual practices through perhaps, some emotional obstacles and pain, which you will become stronger from as you work through these challenges as you take them one step at a time, just like a mountain goat does.

All in all, the Capricorn season will grow your wisdom and mature you for the Aquarius season which bring freedom, and freedom comes with its own lessons.

Capricorn is a Cardinal Earth sign, which means it initiates change which will be made manifest in your reality, so remember to think about what you DO want to build or achieve and not what you DON’T want, as your thoughts are created and this season brings greater energy toward manifestations.
