Full Moon in Aries

As we draw closer to the Full Moon in Aries on the 17th of October 2024, we will begin to feel the energies now and there is one aspect of this Full Moon configuration I’m guided to talk about today.

Let me begin by explaining the energies of Mars and Pluto, who start opposing each other on 11 October 2024.

Mars, the ruler of Aries, is about the instinct to survive, to protect yourself and your land. Mars wants to win at all costs, therefore is quite competitive and quick to anger. Mars has stamina, lots of energy, loves a challenge and isn’t afraid of confrontation. In myth, Mars is the God of War.

Mars will be in Cancer until 19 April 2025 and Cancer represents the home and family, which is a great place for Mars to be at the moment, or is it?

Pluto is slow transformation and rules the processes of life, as in birth, sex and death. It brings upheaval and natural disasters, psychological breakdown or breakthrough in order to regenerate and rejuvenate to bring new life into the world. Pluto is like the big brother of Mars as it holds a higher octave of energy.

The aspect of Mars opposing Pluto happens every two years, so this is nothing new. This usually plays out like the younger brother fighting with the older brother, but Pluto is at the very last degree of Capricorn for the very last time in our lives as he takes about 250 years to travel the Zodiac wheel. The last degree of Capricorn is where those in power could do some strange things to keep their power because once Pluto moves into Aquarius on the 20th of November 2024 for 20 years, the focus moves from restrictions, authority and limitations to freedom for the people, equality and protection of individual rights!

The energies of Pluto and Mars individually are quite strong, put them together and they’re even stronger. These two planets will be working together until the end of January 2025 which is an unusual amount of time for these planets.

When the Full Moon in Aries occurs on the 17th of October, the Moon and the Sun will both be working with Mars and Pluto, intensifying their energies as they form a Cardinal Grand Cross, initiating great change for humanity, as we move through the birthing canal, leaving the old home and way of life, feeling squeezed into a new existence, a new life. In one way it feels similar to those experiencing the hurricanes and war, having to evacuate and when its all over, seeing things for the first time and knowing that life is completely different now. This is psychological breakdown or breakthrough before the great renovation begins for humanity.

In one way I hope I’m reading this chart incorrectly and then, it may be exactly what is required to free ourselves from the Matrix that has controlled humanity for centuries. Like the birthing process, it will be uncomfortable and it’s how we deal with it that will make the difference.

This energy will be present until January, so it will be a process being undertaken over a few months. This is where we support each other, where humanity comes together and we go higher, strengthening our spirituality and focusing on compassion, empathy, empowerment and rising to authenticity, freedom and a more harmonious way of living.

There are other aspects to the chart of this Full Moon which I will talk about in the days to come, it’s just too much to put into one post.
