Mars retrograde in Cancer

You may be feeling the shift of this energy already. Have you noticed how your desire to do some work around your home has become reignited?

You may have begun a project or experienced greater energy to improve things around your home back in September of 2024, when Mars entered Cancer, the zodiac sign that relates to your home and family life. The energy and passion for improvement or cleaning up was significant and then in early November your focus may have changed toward getting things ready for the holiday season and your project lost oomph! Then around the 7th of December, it completely stopped, as Mars, the planet of energy and action went retrograde, slowing your project down to a standstill. Of course, this stands to reason during this time of year, but this also shows how the planets affect our lives.

Not only did your project get put on hold, but your energy levels may have been really low, and I hope you took the time out to look after yourself and listen to your body.

This slowdown has continued and even though Mars is still retrograde, your desire to continue on with that project may have resurfaced and may be a bit slow to take off. Your desire is to continue your project has become a focus again, and you may have a little more energy to continue now. As Mars is still retrograde you may find yourself having to go back over some actions you’ve already taken, and that’s ok, because you can now see how you could do it better, or it’s just what it is.

I’m sensing that you may still have spits and spurts of energy, and I also sense that Mars gained some extra creative energy while in Leo and is now bringing that energy back to your project or mission to make things work easier or to be more homely, you may need time to create a new plan or design something that is more creative.

Mars retrograde in Cancer may also have you going back over your past family dynamics or situations with heart felt energy and this could lead to passionate discussions, which would be best delivered and heard with love and solutions as the outcome.

This retrograde energy of going back over the past and the energy levels for your project will last until the 24th of February 2025 and then you will feel a shift in the energy toward progress and reunification.

With this energy in mind, you now have the information to work through these energies with compassion and understanding for yourself and others, as they will also be displaying these energies.

If someone is triggering you around these energies, please take the time to look at how they are reflecting back to you the exact same thing that you need to be working on yourself. Once you see it, you will begin to see how people play the part that you are to look at within yourself, and judgment will cease, gratitude will be present. Once you learn, grow and change, do or be, what you are wanting someone else to learn, grow, change, do or be, you will see how the people around you, with their “imperfections” are actually gifting you with the opportunity to grow. Once you learn and change from this situation, you’ll be amazed how they change too without having to say anything.
