Mercury goes direct!

The energy of the chart today has FLOW written all over it, so it’s a good time to get things in order because nothing stays the same right and later this week, things may become a little less easy than they are today.

If you’ve been waiting for information or a particular communication, the energy is more conducive to receiving it now as Mercury goes direct later today at 5.30pm at 4 degrees of Leo When a planet goes retrograde, it means it appears to be going backwards, but it’s not really, it’s just at the elliptical part of its journey around the Sun which tends to affect the energy in a way that creates retrospect, revision, or reassessment. The energy of the planet determines what we reassess or redo and when Mercury is retrograde the energy delays messages and communications, thoughts and even travel arrangements. You may not have been able to think clearly either, especially over the last couple of days as Mercury prepared to go direct, it’s kind of like a slowing down period.

Mercury has been retrograde since the 18^th of July, when he was at 15°and now he’s in his shadow period, meaning he’s going back over the degree points where he’s already been so you may see something repeated but it will be better than it was the first time. This may have something to do with your pride and courage, something you wish to achieve for your tribe, your family and it will put you in the spot light too! It’s good what ever it is.

Mercury is working favourably with Mars at 2° of Libra, creating balance and harmony for all involved. This could have something to do with a legal matter or contract. He’s also working with Chiron (fear of rejection and healing) so this matter may have caused some pain but there was a lot of learning involved in the situation and now the Leo energy gives you the courage to make contact or to go forward with your plans. You’ll be surprised that’s for sure, as Mercury is working with Uranus in Gemini, bringing in crazy communications, news and developments.

Pluto is also involved with Mercury here, so the situation or communication will have something to do with the past or connections and communications made a long time ago. For some it will involve Soul Mates or people from past lives coming together.

Jupiter, the planet of abundance and expansion is conjunct (next to) Venus, the planet of love and money and both are in Cancer (at 12 and 13 degrees), which amplifies the beauty, love and abundance within the home and family. These two beautiful planets are working with the Moon (who rules Cancer) and the North Node in Pisces making this energy very strong and possibly going beyond your wildest dreams or what you thought could ever be possible.

My sense is that all of this energy could bring about beautiful changes and harmony, a great healing regarding how you think and feel about yourself, but you still have to do something that requires courage as you may feel you’ll be rejected, but it will work out beautifully. Any rift or uncertainty based around the home will begin to improve. I see this energy bringing people together. Long lost friends will reconnect; Soul Mates will find each other and great nurturing and love all around. This news may be so surprising that you need time out to process it and what it means to you and the people around you.

I’ve mentioned the air and fire kites in previous posts which are still present today and will be for some time this month.
