The four types of eclipses.

A full moon is when the Sun and Moon are opposite each other and this full moon total lunar eclipse is created by the Earth being in between the Sun and the Moon. So when you see the Moon begin to get darker, you’ll know it’s the earth’s shadow being cast upon the Moon! Cool hey!

Eclipses occur when the Sun or the Moon are on the same axis or degree point as the South Node or North Node trajectory. These Nodes are at the point where the path of the Moon and Sun meet as they appear to travel around the Earth. Yes, I know, the Sun doesn’t go around the Earth, the Earth travels around the Sun, but in Astrology, the zodiac wheel is created from the Earth’s perspective being in the centre of all the planets in the sky being around us, because that’s what we see from where we stand.

In astrology, the South Node represents what you are growing out and away from, incorporating release and endings. The North Node represents where you are headed in life and the lessons being learnt along the way are to support your growth toward where you are heading.

There are four types of eclipses;

New Moon Solar eclipse conjunct the North Node will show you the way forward, vitalising your growth.

New Moon Solar eclipse conjunct the South Node will help you complete something to be ready for the new coming in.

Full Moon lunar eclipse conjunct the North Node will grow you emotionally and give you the strength to trust the process you are currently undertaking.

Full Moon lunar eclipse conjunct the South Node includes endings that can be emotional as it’s time to release what you have grown from.

New Moon Solar eclipses are masculine energy, action oriented, initiating new experiences as they give you the strength to move forward, they empower you to make the moves that will change your life.

Full Moon Luna eclipses are feminine in nature and in reception, they are intuitive and internalising, emotional and allowing.

If you have any of the personal planets or points conjunct an eclipse in your chart, the energy of the eclipse will affect you energetically more personally and impact your daily life. The personal planets are the Sun, Moon, Mercury, Mars and Venus. The points are your AC, DC, MC, IC and the Nodes.

If you have any of the transpersonal planets conjunct an eclipse point, you will have quite noticeable situations or events that change your life. The transpersonal planets are Jupiter, Saturn and Chiron.

If you have any of the outer generational planets conjunct an eclipse point, your overall life direction will change significantly. The outer generational planets are Uranus, Neptune and Pluto.

The House the eclipse falls within your chart will also give you an indication of the area of life that will be affected.

An eclipse has a path over the earth where it can be seen by different countries and will affect those places as well.

You may not experience an event on the day of the eclipse as they take affect over a period of time, so relax and stay open to situations that will be ultimately for your highest and best, always, as the Universe is continuously supporting your growth toward higher trajectories and unconditional love.

The upcoming eclipses on the 14th and 29th of March are significant as they are conjunct personal planets, transpersonal planets and outer planets, supporting the transformation of humanity. So go higher with your thoughts regarding any situations you may find yourself in.

I’ll post regarding the eclipse of the 14th of March tomorrow.

Peace, love and respect to all.
