We begin the weekly intuitive astrology for the week 31 December to 6 January 2024. This weeks chart is a spritely chart full of activity for the last day of 2023, Sunday the 31st of December, where we have Jupiter going direct at 5 degrees of Taurus. This alone is highly beneficial as Jupiter is the planet of abundance and spiritual protection, joy and generosity, understanding and expansion.

These are the refined expressions of Jupiter and as he is in Taurus, the sign of beauty and quality, abundance and stability, these two energies together create all things good and depending on which House Jupiter falls in your chart, you could have an abundance of money or tangible items coming into your life, which is House 2, or if it is in House 7, you could have a beautiful relationship with someone that equals your energy, House 9 could have you plan to travel overseas and House 10 could bring in a new career that pays well.

This is the energy of forward momentum and could be something you’ve been waiting for, thinking about and wanting to take action on for some time, while Jupiter was in retrograde, now, things can start to pick up for you.

Adding to this energy signature is the Sun working with Jupiter, this is a very lucky and providential energy signature as the Sun is giving life force to opportunities, possibilities and expansion in your life.

The raw expression of Jupiter in Taurus could have you wanting to do absolutely nothing, just rest and enjoy the day, possibly indulge a little too much as Jupiter expands and amplifies the desire for joy in abundance. Another aspect of this energy relates to self-worth and value. As Jupiter is now going direct, you could begin to think more about your self-worth and work toward expanding that within yourself.

Also on this day, we have two Fire Grand Trines creating a high vibrational energy. The Moon in Leo at 24 degrees, Mercury in Sagittarius at 22 degrees and Mars also in Sagittarius at 26 degrees, trining Chiron at 15 degrees of Aries and the North Node at 21 degrees of Aries as well.

This is a healing energy that could propel you forward in life. There will certainly be a lot of energy creating activity and social activity that could have you learning something and communicating with many people. This all sounds normal for New Years Eve for most people, but not all like to socialize on this day or night and if you are one that likes to stay at home, you may have people around to celebrate in your home as Leo relates to the home and family.

We’ve talked about Mercury and Mars in Sagittarius working with Chiron and the North Node before, as these energies are working together to heal the wound you’ve come to heal and as you do more work in this area of your life, the more life will open up for you and motivate you toward the purpose you’ve come to achieve in this life time, which is represented by the North Node. All the healing available to humanity at the moment is to support the Shift in consciousness to a higher level to enable humanity to live a more harmonious life.

The Moon in Leo adds an energy of pizazz to the healing being offered with these Fire Grand Trines, which means the energy flows beautifully and is very supportive of the element it’s in. In this case its Fire, which is energy and action, it could also be emotions too, so it would be a good idea to really work on mastering your thoughts and actions at this time, by staying focused on the here and now, to what is within your environment at the time and also, by staying on the side of love.

The Moon relates to the way we go about our daily life and also encompasses intuition and emotion, when in Leo, a sign where there is social activity, creativity and a joy for attention in front of a group of people or a crowd, you could feel its ok to be seen, or have a need to be seen. This is a good energy for those that have come to work with humanity but feel afraid to be seen. If you can embrace this energy you may begin to feel comfortable being seen.  There is also protective energy here, so if you find yourself in a crowd, you may feel a need to look after the people you’re with more than normal or feel more protective of family members.

The raw expression here could be doing things to excess to gain attention and the refined expression would be to make some sort of a speech in public, and as the Moon in Leo is opposing Saturn in Pisces, you could make a public display of maturity and responsibility or manage yourself in a mature way that is new to you. Saturn and the Moon are aspecting Venus in Sagittarius and this feels like you might go against tradition and seek a higher way of celebrating the end of the year by adding in spiritual practices or principles.

Mercury and Mars are still in Sagittarius which relates to communication, action and energy around higher spiritual knowledge and learning through interacting with people from different cultures. You may also want some adventure and are ready to put into action things that will take you forward.

This Fire Grand Trine is also working with Chiron and the North Node in Aries. I have a feeling this energy signature could also relate to a situation which has been challenging for you to deal with, it could be around an ending of some sort which has caused some emotions and stress that you’ve felt around providing for your family and yourself.

With the Sagittarius energy it could be a legal matter being highlighted and the energy of Jupiter going direct, working with the Sun in Capricorn, could begin this legal matter or complete it, and may well be to your advantage. As Uranus is also working with the Moon here, the outcome may be unexpected and surprising leaving you very pleased with the outcome.

Jupiter working with the Sun in Capricorn is a very lucky energy, so you could end the year with some very good news, which gets you all fired up and excited for the year ahead.

A Grand Fire Trine can be quite exciting and for those that have strong fire energy in their chart, you may find it hard to sit still on this day. Children may become over excited and not be able to control their energy, so a day out with full on physical activity may help this energy, or you could ground the energy out through the feet into the earth. It just won’t be a day for sitting quietly I’m afraid.

There is also a square between Venus in Sagittarius at 2 degrees working with Saturn at 3 degrees of Pisces and the Moon at 24 degrees of Leo, this energy could bring in the desire to work more closely with your gifts, perhaps going the next level with them. You may discover a new person from a different country that has gifts you would like to have or learn more about. The Saturn aspect may have you wanting to be more disciplined with the gifts and skills you already possess, to bring in more practices and learn more to develop your skills and knowledge. The square aspect here could put the brakes on your ideas, but not for long. It could be as simple as waiting for a book to arrive or the course you’ve just signed up for doesn’t begin until the new year holidays are over.

Venus in Sagittarius is also working nicely with Pluto in Capricorn and Neptune in Pisces, and this energy signature will work well for developing your self-worth and self-love, realising something that you’ve not been aware of and once you recognise this realisation is holding you back and you cease its actions or thoughts, you will be able to move forward and go higher.

So far all the energies taking place are beneficial and opens up opportunities and possibilities.

Monday the 1st of January 2024 the Fire Grand Trine changes to an Earth Grand Trine, bringing in energy for manifesting something that is tangible and physical in this world. The trine energy here is working with the Sun in Capricorn at 10 degrees, the Moon now in Virgo at 6 degrees and Jupiter in Taurus at 5 degrees. This looks like a shift from the high vibing fire grand trine to the grounded and down to earth energies of the Earth Grand Trine, which brings in a change of responsibility and service, new ideas and ways to communicate your ideas. This energy can have you looking to change the way you do things or go about things, possibly minimizing any excessive actions that you can now see are no longer required as the Virgo energy looks for efficiency and ease of productivity. The Sun is highlighting the way forward and Jupiter is providing the finances and miracles to make it happen.

This Earth Grand Trine is a beautiful energy, very fortunate and responsible, perhaps highlighting your physical needs and wants and is asking you to be clear and precise as to your needs and values, how you value yourself, looking at how far you’ve come and also looking at the service you provide, asking yourself, are you giving too much or expecting too much from others, or could you be providing more?

Venus is still working with Neptune in Pisces, bringing in more self-love awareness and working out what you can do to show yourself more love. You may have experienced situations over the holiday season that pointed out to you that you need to be more loving and kind, accepting and respecting of yourself and the energy of Chiron going direct may have presented situations that showed you the area of life where your wound is or what the wound is that you’ve come to heal in this life time.

It can hold a fear of rejection and look like if you don’t do something or do speak your truth, they will be hurt and not like you anymore. The thing is, by not doing, saying or being your truthful self, you are rejecting yourself, which sets up for others to reject you as the Universe will have the way you think and feel about yourself, reflected back to you. If you reject or abandon yourself, others will reject and abandon you as well, and you don’t want that, so best ensure you are accepting yourself and being your authentic self.

Tuesday the 2nd of January sees the Earth Grand Trine continue, manifesting your thoughts and desires to go higher and to learn more. Here we see Uranus at 19 degrees of Taurus taking over from Jupiter in the Grand Trine, so you could find things come in quickly or suddenly. I see this energy signature accentuating the fact that Jupiter is now direct, bringing in the goods and prosperity, abundance, and expansion into your life and now Uranus is saying, ok, let’s go, let’s get this happening now, today! You may have a feeling of expecting the unexpected here. This grand trine is a positive flow of energy, and if you have any legal circumstances or contracts taking place, the process may now be well under way. I feel this is exciting energy that holds joy and happiness and inspiration in unexpected ways.

Wednesday the 3rd of January, Mars and Mercury in Sagittarius are working with Neptune in Pisces and the Moon at 0 degrees of Libra. This energy could have legal matters being the focus, and it may be that the matter requires higher legal representation, for example, going from mediation to engaging a lawyer, or a higher more qualified legal representative. It could also be forms and documents relating to contracts being required for higher education or some sort of payment from the government as Saturn is also working with Jupiter here. It just means the beginning of a project or an idea that comes to mind and the energy signature here brings it to your awareness and gives you the energy to go for it!

It could also relate to equality in relationships, where we take another look at how things are playing out in relationships, and being able to find higher solutions, or learning things of a higher nature regarding our relationship with the Source of All, and I see this is where we may feel we want to deepen our spiritual knowledge or become more aware of our connection and begin new spiritual practices.

Pluto is working with the Moon here and could bring to your attention something you haven’t been unaware of that may be holding you back. Pluto can help put an end to something that isn’t working within relationships for a new beginning within a relationship to take place. There was a lot of energy around relationships in October, Libra season, and as the Moon is working with Mercury and Mars in Sagittarius today, this energy is going over the legalities relating to those relationships that may have ended.

Neptune represents your Higher Self and is also working with Pluto to bring in downloads of information that will bring in clarity to support the completion of something, and this could be a career or business that is no longer working for you.

On this day we also see the North and South Nodes move from 21 degrees of Aries and Libra, to 20 degrees of their respective signs.

Thursday the 4th of January sees the energy shift to the Sun at 13 degrees of Capricorn working with the Moon at 12 degrees of Libra and Chiron at 15 degrees of Aries. The Sun is highlighting the wound you’ve come to heal and applying some pressure for work to be done on this wound, which is usually around rejection and abandonment. The Moon could be creating some emotions around this wound as you look at the fairness of life and how you have been treated. But we would do well to look at every situation as an opportunity to learn something about ourselves or life, or what the Universe is asking us to step up to and grow into. What has taken place in the past have been learning experiences, and they have happened for you to grow, not to you to destroy you.

This is the aspect of me versus we as Aries is about the self and Libra is about other people and relationships, so we could be looking at fears of rejection and how power play is working within a situation you are experiencing at the moment. For some, this could be the realisation of how the powers that be are working with our fear of rejection to exert their power and once recognised, we become more powerful and empowered.

This aspect again could relate to any legal matters and how it will affect your future. Mercury in Sagittarius is working with Chiron, which shows communications around legal matters. Venus in Sagittarius relates to higher love and is also working with Chiron, asking you to grow your self-love which will support the growth of your sovereignty and empowerment and is asking you to go higher and work with the Chiron wound, for it will open many doors for you.

Friday the 5th of January, we see the Moon working with the South and North Nodes, bringing up past legal situations or relationships to be looked at and worked with to be released for more opportunities and possibilities to be presented to you. Pluto is also interacting with the Moon here, which could bring out some information that puts an end to a relationship, which could be a personal relationship or one with an employer or business contract, depending on which House 24 degrees of Libra is within your chart.

As the North Node moves closer to Chiron, deeper realisations will surface to be worked with to enhance your way forward in life. This energy can result in challenges and discomfort, but you will know you need to do something to make changes that will be more beneficial for you in the long run.

Mars enters Capricorn at 0 degrees, creating actions around procedures, policies and daily routines, there’s also a feeling of being more responsible for your actions. This energy feels like its supporting a sense of living life deliberately, by this I mean you may become more aware of what you are doing in the moment and each action you take will have a purpose and be meaningful. Mars is also in trine with Jupiter in Capricorn, gifting inspiration and motivation to do what you need to do to be more responsible for yourself and your happiness, perhaps your values and attitude may change a little here and this will bring about more self-worth and value. Saturn is saying it’s time for you to do more for yourself.

Saturday the 6th of January the Moon in Scorpio could bring about some emotions of jealousy and suspicion, but the Moon is working with Saturn as well, and this gives the opportunity to master these thoughts and to bring your energy back to yourself, to give to yourself what it is that you are wanting or having what the other person has. Saturn relates to self-responsibility and has he’s in Pisces, the energy is asking you to go beyond the mundane and go higher, to be compassionate and end all limiting beliefs.

So, there we have it, the first week of January is about healing and growth, self-empowerment and new directions. I feel this is preparatory energy for what is coming in the near future, when Pluto and the Sun move into Aquarius on the same day in a couple of weeks time. I invite you to be aware and purposeful with these energies because if you can utilise them now, you will benefit from them in the coming weeks and beyond.
