Mercury in Capricorn

Mercury in Capricorn may have you getting things organized and structured, cleaning up your inbox, removing photos from your phone, organising the house and catching up on “paper and book work”. As I say that, I notice Mercury is working with the South and North Nodes, which is where we’ve come from and where we are heading, and the old fashioned terms of paper work and book work are replaced by Square, MYOB and other apps that do all the work for you, well, most of it anyway. When I started my first business, my book work was just that, a book with columns for the daily accounting activities to be entered into and balanced at the end of the day.

Advertising your business was an ad in the local newspaper and signage on the store. The hours spent on paper and book work may have been replaced by modern technology, but the time is now spent advertising or creating content for social media or fixing up your website.

Mercury in Capricorn may have you thinking of your own life, where you’ve come from and where you are heading. You may begin to build a new plan for yourself, but first this energy will have you more aware of and thinking of how you go about your day, what you do and if it’s what you really want to be doing.

Does it light you up? Does it make you happy? Is this the direction you want to be going in life? Hmm, food for thought…….

If you are doing what lights you up, makes you happy and is the direction you want to going, then Mercury in Capricorn will boost you toward your goals as you cement your ideas to be exactly what you want to be doing and this will warm your heart, put a smile on your face and a spring in your step!

If Mercury in Capricorn is showing you that you need a change toward something that you can build and grow, then this is the perfect time, because the South and North Nodes are at 0° of Libra and Aries which is the perfect place for new beginnings as 0° of Aries is the very first-degree point of the entire zodiac wheel!

This energy will only be present for two weeks, so it’s a great time to note your thoughts and ideas or talk to someone that can help.

The Universe always has things worked out, the big picture type thing and I sense the interaction between Mercury and the Nodes is a prelude to the Nodes changing signs in the next couple of days, which will be a big shift for all of humanity and if you are someone that is going to help people transition and evolve through this shift, then I think Mercury in Capricorn is going to ignite something within you, something that your Soul knows and is now communicating to you and giving you the energy to take the actions required to start to build your dream into reality.

This is very practical energy, and I hope you can take advantage of it to catch up, tidy up and get things worked out to make more space for things to come. Remember, we are at the beginning of the greatest shift humanity has ever lived through and the clearer you can be in your mind and how you live, will be hugely beneficial for when things get a bit chaotic, which they will, they have to, because the old ways are being dismantled, just like taking an old kitchen out, it’ll be a mess, but when the new one is in, it’ll be so sweet!
