Cancer Full Moon

If you have any crystals, remember to put them outside where the energy of the Full Moon can cleanse and re-energise them. It’s also a good idea to give them a quick wash under flowing water before you place them outside too.

Now, down to the business end of this post, the Cancer Full Moon at 23 degrees, 13 or 14 January depending on your location. This could be a very interesting time because the moon is very close to Mars and the Sun is very close to Pluto. The Moon represents our daily emotions and Mars represents action and energy, protection and defense. As I type this, it reminds me of the fires in America, because Cancer relates to your home and family, and Pluto destroys to make space for the new, like the Phoenix, rising out of the ashes!  

The thing is, the Sun and the Moon are working with Chiron in Aries, Chiron being the wound we’ve come to heal in this life time and Full Moons are about the ending of a cycle for a new cycle to begin.

This could be a deep wound that you may get fired up about, and it’s a very important wound that you’ve chosen to heal in this life time, it’s part of your reason for being here at this time in our evolution. This wound is one that’s been on repeat for some time, and it feels like its around authority and sovereignty. Oh yes, this goes way back through the generations. This also feels like the power men have had over women and Pluto in Aquarius is bringing in equality.

Capricorn is about fathers, men, and masculinity, public image, status and reputation.

Cancer is about mothers, women, children and femininity, your home and family, where you’ve come from, self-care, nurturing and emotions, history and family roots.

Something could come up between fathers and mothers, or fathers and daughters, mothers and sons, and if so, you now have the knowledge that something could be triggered within either of you, to be worked out or restructured, and then put to rest.

Lets work with these energies as Capricorn is around maturity and Cancer is loving. Ok, yes, Mars is next to the Moon and does represent the God of War, but he’s retrograde, which means he’s going back over the actions he’s taken in the past to assess and do better, and once this has been resolved, old unhealthy patterns that were created because of this wound, may be released, quickly, thanks to Uranus being involved with this Full Moon. Uranus changes things quickly, as his energy is surprising and disruptive.

We also have Neptune and the North Node in Pisces working with the Full Moon and Sun, gifting the opportunity to go higher with this situation, to go beyond the hurt, to heal and change your future trajectory.

Saturn and Venus in Pisces are also working with the Cancer Full Moon, providing the energy of maturity and love, self-love and self-care. Then there is the South Node in Virgo, also working with the Full Moon, creating a desire to take time out to go over the details of the situation, and find better ways to go about it from now on.

Collectively I see this as the control and manipulation that has been in place for centuries, from the powers that be/were, over the ”little” people, that’s built a collective wound which we’ve lived by, creating unhealthy behaviours or patterns to feel accepted by those around us, is now being highlighted. Since 2020, there’s been enough going on for us to see where things can be improved. We’re starting to look at history in a different way and collectively we’re deciding that this is not the way we want to continue because we can also see where that will lead us and the planet, what we will be leaving our children and grandchildren. Once Mars goes direct again in February, I think there will be greater determination to protect our home, our planet and all life upon her.

Yes, we may need to go into this wound, to feel it deeply in order to realise this is not the way we want to go, changes do need to be made and sometimes it takes a shake up for us to wake up. So let’s do this with awareness, maturity and love. Let’s get inspired to heal and grow, to make the changes that will at first challenge us, to change the road ahead for a cleaner and clearer more loving and unified reality where there is so segregation between the rich and the poor! Think about how long that reality has been in place for?!? Equality and unity is where we are heading, don’t you think?
