Focus on Family and Home Life

Most of 2025 will focus on family and home life with the energy of Mars in Cancer, building and growing as he moves into Leo.

There are a lot of emotions and situations occurring which may have you feeling like you’re in a washing machine. One minute you may feel frustrated and angry because of surprising news or you may feel a strong need for change, then an understanding comes in followed by the awareness that you have to let go of a dream you had, or that dream is now complete, which then leaves you thinking, “What now, what do I do now?”

There are financial situations around the home, brought about by Venus in Pisces working with Mars in Cancer, which may have you needing to spend more than you had anticipated. Saturn in Pisces is also working with Mars in Cancer which could bring up something of a parental nature, or something you need to be responsible for, something you thought you got away with not having to do, but now Mars retrograde is bringing this to your attention again, to be dealt with this time.

The aspect of Neptune working with Mars in Cancer is supportive of healings around any situation that may present to you and Uranus, although he is bringing surprising news or changes, is also helping you to ground yourself and accept the changes that have just occurred. Even though you may not be ready for such a change, know that it is for your highest and best, even if it doesn’t look like it at the moment.

The North Node (where you are heading in life) has just entered Pisces and is also working with Mars in Cancer, bringing insights into where you are to put your energy as you move forward in life, which may also bring about endings. Perhaps it’s time to sell the family home or remove items that are no longer in use and perhaps haven’t been for some time now.

Chiron in Aries is also working with Mars in Cancer, which is where some fears may arise where you question can you do this, do you have what it takes and what will the family think if I do do this?

And to top it all off, we still have Pluto and the Sun creating tension and frustration as they work with Mars in Cancer and Chiron. This is really big energy and it’s building! When Mars goes direct on 27 February, there will be no going back, and although the energy may still be sluggish, it will bring more momentum to the decision you’ve made, and once Mars enters Leo on 19 April, the energy will change again and be stronger but still gaining strength.

The House or Houses that Mars occupies in your birth chart will show you the area of life that will be affected for the next few months and that will give you more clarity and understanding of what you could be learning from these situations. For example, if transiting Mars is in your 7th House, your relationship will be affected, 2nd House will affect your finances and work, 6th House would be affecting your health and sense of usefulness.
